What is Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality: Transforming our future

Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology through which we can experience a 360 degree simulation. VR also provides a virtual environment. In this, a headset is fitted on the head of the user. It helps block the vision of the real world and allow only the vision of the video which is playing to provide in depth knowledge.

VR in E-Education (a scheme under Digital India) , helps for the students to "feel" the content. It also allows the students to explore, experience, and become more involved in learning.

VR allows the students/person using the headgear to move inside, feel the environment, use avatars and explore the virtual environment created by AI.

Applications:

Training-

VR can be used to increase personnel safety in organisations like the Army, Navy and the Air Force.
